Often referred to as “Chinese yoga,” Qigong is the art of cultivating and working with internal energy—or chi. Together with Tai Chi, these ancient practices are designed to enhance vitality, promote longevity, and build strength from the inside out.
By encouraging the smooth and balanced flow of chi throughout the body, Qigong and Tai Chi help prevent illness, support the immune system, and develop a body that is soft and relaxed on the outside—yet resilient and powerful within. This internal transformation is often described as becoming “steel wrapped in cotton.”
In this 4-session fundamental training, you'll learn the essential foundations of both Qigong and Tai Chi. Perfect for beginners who want to build a strong base, and equally beneficial for experienced practitioners looking to deepen their understanding and refine their practice.
What You’ll Learn:
Breathing and visualization techniques
Foundational postures and flowing movements
Practices to enhance energy circulation, balance yin and yang, improve flexibility, cleanse and energize internal organs, and calm the nervous system
12 classical Qigong postures
“Grasping the Sparrow’s Tail” from the traditional 24-movement Yang-style Tai Chi form
How to apply chi circulation principles to yoga postures
A certificate of completion will be provided at the end of the training.
