Day of Caring is United Way’s largest single-day volunteer event, uniting people from all corners of Northwest Indiana to roll up their sleeves and make a difference together.
What began as a national movement in 1992 has grown into a powerful local tradition rooted in our commitment to creating real, measurable impact. Every project completed on this day supports one of our four key focus areas: Financial Stability, Resilient Communities, Healthy Communities, and Youth Opportunities.
Kickoff Party: Avalon Manor
Volunteer Sites: All throughout Northwest Indiana
