Pickle Palooza!

Join us for our decades-long tradition of pickling where you get to select, slice, and can cucumbers to make your own pickles!*

Each family can:
- Select one of our fresh cucumbers
- Slice cucumber into spears or coins
- Tuck cucumbers into a clean canning jar (which we provide) with fresh garlic and beautiful fresh dill from the Durant garden
- Observe docents pour in hot brine that has been heated over a fire in the 1880 Peterson Kitchen
- Add the lid, let it cool a bit, then take it home!
- Keep it in the fridge for a week, then enjoy!

* One jar of pickles per family

ARRIVE EARLY FOR BEST CUCUMBER SELECTION.

Admission Fee: $3:00 per adult and $1.00 per child.
