Knit (and Crochet!) Knockers

In this class, we’ll discuss all the parts that go into making a Knocker including yarn selection, pattern details, finishing techniques, and donation information. At the end of this class, you’ll have the knowledge to confidently complete a pair of knockers!
You only need to bring 1 set 8” double point needles, size US 4 (for sport weight) or US 5 (for DK weight) OR Size G (4.5mm) crochet hook. Both knit and crochet versions of the pattern will be made available as well as the yarn.
Attendees will also receive a $20 credit to the Makers’ Mercantile shop upon completion and donation of a pair knockers!
Prerequisites
Knitters should be comfortable with a cast on, knit, purl, knit front and back, make 1 right, make 1 left, and knit 2 stitches together.
Crocheters should be comfortable with making a chain, single crochet, increases, and decreases.
