Experience an unforgettable summer of music at the Summer Concert Series, presented by BankNewport! Every other Thursday from July 17 to August 29, we're bringing you an incredible line-up of artists and performances that you won't want to miss.
Singer, Songwriter, Producer, Educator, Radio Personality.. Just a few of the many hats worn by Alexus Lee. On the stage she dazzles audiences with her soulful storytelling, masterful vocals and infectious grooves. Off the stage she shares her love of music through teaching private lessons in voice, piano and songwriting as well as co-hosting The Hot 106 Hot Morning Show. Alexus’s 4 octave range, skillful ability for storytelling, and commanding stage presence, have carried her to countless cities, states, and countries around the world. The Berklee graduate has shared stages with world class talents such as Mac Ayres, has been featured in numerous online, television and print publications; including The Providence Journal, PBS, WPRI, The Boston Chronicle, and has been nominated for Rhode Island Music Awards for “Best Vocalist” of 2022“ and “Best RnB Act” of 2023 and 2024. Music has always been a form of therapy for me.” Says Lee. “It has been my confidant in the best of times and the worst of times. I write to heal myself, and aim to create a safe space of healing for others wherever I go.” Her debut EP ‘Offerings’ released to rave reviews on September 1, 2023.
Join us under the tent on the HMM Waterfront, rain or shine, and enjoy the show in comfort. Feel free to bring your own lawn chairs, or take advantage of the tables, chairs, and picnic tables provided on site. You can even bring your own food and drinks, but don't worry if you forget - caterers will be selling delicious food at all shows.
