The Kansas City Game Designers (KCDG) are hosting a playtest session for board game designers on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays each month (except holidays) at the Lenexa Public Market location from 6:30 pm – 9 pm. We normally meet upstairs. We are open to anyone joining us to learn and play new games and provide feedback. This is a great chance to see how game design works and help shape a future board game.
If you are a game designer, we only require you to attend 2 sessions before sharing your prototype for feedback. This way you get a chance to see how feedback works and the process of running a prototype for new players. We are happy to answer questions about the process or anything about game design. We have members who have published, crowdfunded, and even self-published games. Everyone is welcome to join us.
