9 Square in the Air

Join the fun at Tom Varn Park every Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. for 9 Square in the Air—a fast-paced, engaging game that blends the excitement of volleyball with the structure of four square! Set up in a 3x3 grid elevated above players' heads, nine participants each occupy a square, aiming to keep the ball in play by hitting it into another player's square. The goal is to reach and hold the center “king” square as long as possible.

It’s open to everyone, and anyone can jump in line at any time—making it a fun, inclusive activity for all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re competitive or just want to have a good time, come join the action and stay active!
