2025 Jim Mayer Trail Family Fun Run 5k/10k

The 5k course will be along the original section of the Jim Mayer Trail that extends from Riverside (on Michigan Ave) to Bridge Street in Johnstown. The out-and-back course will begin and end at the Riverside Trailhead. Participants will follow the scenic section of the trail along the Stonycreek River and will pass by the Trail Art Murals near the old trolley bridge in Moxham, with a turn around point shortly after the trolley bridge.
The 10k course will be an out and back of the entire Jim Mayer Trail, beginning and ending at Riverside. Participants will turn around at the end of the trail.
A water/Gatorade station will be available on the course at the 5k turn around point by Bridge Street. Water/Gatorade and first aid supplies will be available at the finish.
Since walkers and runners will be on the course, walkers are asked to stay to the right on the trail. The race will happen RAIN OR SHINE!
All proceeds go towards the enhancement and expansion of the Cambria County Trails.
