Camp Create- Sculpture Unusual

Take sculpture to the next level in this multi-scale sculpture course using hand building techniques to craft micro, small, large, strange, and unique sculptures. Campers will bring their art into the 3D world through the use of clay, plaster, wood, plastics, fabric, found materials to give life to full structures through carving, modeling, and mixed media creativity. Students will be taught how to use glue guns to assemble and embellish their big creations. They will also make a yard sign pointing to their favorite place. Funday Friday: Stackhouse Park, nature sculpting and scavenger hunt to find objects for an assemblage sculpture.
