This is the THIRD of 3 lakes we swim today! Join for one, two, or all three lakes!
11:00am BEAVER Lake
01:00pm PINE Lake
03:00pm RATTLESNAKE Potluck PICNIC [THIS EVENT]
04:00pm RATTLESNAKE SWIM/SUP/FISH [THIS EVENT]
If you prefer to HIKE instead of swim the first 2 lakes, you can join Paula at Rattlesnake Ledge at 10am and meet us for the picnic at 3pm.
A DISCOVERY PASS is required for parking. There is a bathroom, no showers.
***Please BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR for the POTLUCK picnic***
IF YOU ARE SWIMMING MULTIPLE LAKES, please:
KEEP WARM & DRY. For example, use separate dry towels after each swim. Bring a dry swimsuit for each swim.
DRINK HOT-SOMETHING after every swim (hot cocoa, tea, cider).
HYDRATE all day.
FIGHT BACTERIA and help guard against swimmers itch by using a towel to rub skin off briskly after each swim. Rinse with warm water.
Some people wear wetsuits in this type of weather, while others wear a swimsuit. Please use your own judgement for personal comfort and safety.
