We're celebrating the release of the debut 'Gardening Music' album at the classic Rogue Sunday Jazz evening!
'Gardening Music, Volume 1' is made up of number Jake’s compositions, workshopped over a multi-week residency upstairs at Bedlam & Squalor, recorded live, and sampled, reworked and recomposed by Cory Champion.
The group's approach allows each member to explore every aspect of the music in their own time, winding their way organically through the tapestry of the compositions: like flowing water, conjoining, separating and conjoining again. The resulting sounds evoke soft rain, vibrant new growth, and the wonderment of contemplating the natural: sometimes tranquil, sometimes jubilant, always in the moment.
