Absolute Beginners Social Dancing Introductory Class

Ever wanted to dance like Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire?! Or maybe you just want to be the couple who get up on the floor and look like they know what they're doing?
If you've ever thought that learning social dancing might be fun but not wanted to commit to a whole term of classes then here is a one-hour class for you to give it all a try and it is totally FREE!
The class will cover two simple building blocks, which form the basis of four dances: Waltz, Rumba, Cha Cha, and East Coast Swing. And you will have danced all four of these dances before the hour is finished!
DATE: Wednesday, 9 July 2025
TIME: 6-7pm
PLACE: Level 2, 110 Hutt Rd, Kaiwharawhara, Wellington
COST: FREE!
This Introductory Class will be followed by a seven-week course to develop these building blocks and practice the dances named. While we hope you will sign up to the course there is no obligation, whatsoever.
Come and experience the relaxed and fun atmosphere of social dancing, enjoying the music and company, and learn a new skill that will soon have all the people watching, wishing they could dance like you!
Come give it a try! Partners are always welcome but not a requirement to enrol.
