Intro to Strength Training for Women 40+

If you’ve ever felt like strength training should be part of your life—but the gym feels intimidating or you're not sure where to start—this group is for you.

We meet once a month on Thursday from 12–1:30pm, and the goal is simple: to help women over 40 learn the basics of lifting weights in a small, friendly, supportive space.

Each meetup includes:

– A breakdown of the core strength movements (squats, deadlifts, presses)
– Hands-on coaching to help you learn proper form
– A free InBody scan with a quick explanation of what the numbers mean
– A few practical tips to help you move toward your goals

There’s plenty of time to ask questions, get real answers, and connect with other women who are figuring it out too. No pressure. No judgment. Just good people and helpful info.

We’ll also talk about why strength training matters so much for women over 40—including how it affects metabolism, bone health, and muscle mass, especially during perimenopause and menopause.

It’s free to attend, and space is limited to 12 people so everyone can get individual attention.
