Woodburning Basics with Artson

Participants will get familiar with a Razertip base woodburner and some common tips. They will also learn about burning safety and how to troubleshoot line and shading issues. After some hands on practice, participants will be able to work on a small project they can take home at the end of class.

Jen Merz has been practicing pyrography (wood burning) for about 5 years. She always enjoyed drawing, and wanted to add an additional element to her art. Jen prefers to create animal and nature scenes, but also enjoys discovering new skills!
