MoshPit Open Band and Open Nights return for 2025.
Open Band:
Most Tuesday nights from 7pm (we'll let you know in advance if it's not happening). Aimed at full band set ups, there's usually 4 bands performing 30 minute sets. Come and try out new material or get on a stage for the first time in a friendly and welcoming environment. Bring your mates to cheer you on! No ticket sales required, it's free entry for all.
Open Mic:
MoshPit is proud to be hosting the longest running Open Mic in Sydney! Every Wednesday from 7pm, usually 10 minute sets for solos and duets, or 3 poems / 5 minute sets for poetry / the spoken word and comedy acts. Had a bad day? Come and get on the stage and tell us about it, if venting helps. Always free entry all night, with 2 half price drinks for every performer to help you get over those nerves.
For both nights:
Full drum kit available (please bring your own cymbals and snare - we do have but most people prefer to bring their own). We also have a guitar amp, a bass amp, and a house guitar that everyone is welcome to use.
