Archives are a valuable and often overlooked source for genealogy research. East Baton Rouge Parish Library’s Genealogy Department welcomes four local archivists to the Main Library at Goodwood on Saturday, July 26, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. for an informative and entertaining look at history!
Presenters include Ann Boltin, Diocese of Baton Rouge; Bill Stafford and Dan Lewis, Louisiana State Archives; and Jari Honora, New Orleans Historic Collection. Each will present their collections and demonstrate how to access these materials for researching your family. Also, learn about resources available in the Library’s Special Collections. This event is free, and no registration is required to attend.
