Manic Spring is a depressionist alt-rock four-piece from New York City. Drawing on shoegaze, post-hardcore, 80’s/90’s alternative, and second-wave emo, Manic Spring emphasizes lyrics that explore grief, suicide, religious trauma, and childhood in a way that aims at catharsis and healing. The band consists of Sleepy Hahas/Bottler alums Pat Butler & Phil Shore, Feverbox‘s Griffin Smith, and Lauren Grubb.
