This will be a normal sized portion of papaya salad, not over served like our past contests. The only catch is the juice in the salad must also be completed! No this is not a carolina reaper, ghost pepper papaya salad. This is will be Lao traditional style Tum Mak Hoong made with Thai Chili Peppers!
To eat this like a true Laotian, a side of sticky rice will be served also! Can't have Papaya salad without sticky rice! If you've never had it before, it's normal to use your hands to eat with. All rice must be eaten. Will be served in a bamboo basket called Kratip!
