Potato Clock & The Scriveners

Chris & Sara Teasley return to KC while on tour with their new outfit, Potato Clock. The couple formed Potato Clock after relocating to Gainesville, Florida in 2019, having spent the previous decade as renowned contributors in the Kansas City music scene, rocking both together (The Heavy Figs, New Lost Souls) and separately (The Cave Girls, Thee Devotion, The Quivers, etc). Potato Clock will perform on Saturday, June 28th at The Brick, in the Crossroads Art District. Doors at 8pm. Opening will be local band The Scriveners, recently described by The Pitch as having “loud, catchy-but-abrasive tunes, whose inclusion of sax and keys makes them sound like an extra-skronky Minutemen.” Join us for a night of sweaty rock’n’roll as we embrace the past, the present, and the future all in a blaze of boogie.
