Consisting of seasoned players from a variety of reputable regional acts, Qway capitalizes on their progressive, jazz, and world-music backgrounds to create a fresh, forward-thinking take on the psych-rock revival. Utilizing a wide array of techniques to blend wildly disparate influences, Qway has created a genre-defiant sound with prog-rock roots injected by Turkish/far-East melodies alongside drum-and-bass pockets, trip-hop sampling, and sludge-metal riffs.
