Path to Permanent Housing Surge Event

The Martinsburg VA Medical Center is holding a surge event at the Martinsburg Town Square to provide same-day housing to Veterans who are homeless.
Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to Noon.
No Veteran should be homeless in the country they served. Meet at the Martinsburg Town Square (the corner of King and Queen Streets).
Assistance will be provided to secure immediate temporary housing. Efforts will continue to help with permanent housing. Cold water and hygiene kits will be available.
Note: Veterans, their family members, friends, and supporters who cannot attend can still get help. The National Call Center for Homeless Veterans offers confidential support 24/7. Trained counselors are ready to assist. Call 1-877-4AID VET (877-424-3838) or chat online at the VA.gov website.
