EVERCREECH AND MATHINNA FALLS

Evercreech Falls is located in Evercreech Forest Reserve, north of Mathinna and situated on the Evercreech Rivulet, the waterfall itself is a gentle waterfall that cascades down a steep slope, before dropping approximately 3-5 metres below. The walk goes to the base of the falls. The reserve has two walks, with the waterfall walk being a 40 minute return loop to Evercreech Falls. It is relatively easy, but slippery in parts. For fungi enthusiasts, the area is a magnificent haven for different varieties of fungi. The second is known as ‘The White Knights’, and is named due to the huge white gum trees that are over 90 metres tall and is through a forest loop that starts and finishes at the car park. Mathinna Falls are approximately 10kms north of Mathinna, and is a series of four excellent waterfalls totalling over 100 metres in height. The first waterfall, which is the easiest to access, is a short walk 15-minute return from the carpark on an established bush trail, that guides you directly to the base of the waterfall which is a pretty waterfall, and has a height of approximately 25 metres.

Please contact the walk coordinator by 8pm on the Friday evening prior to obtain full information and to book your place.
