Come and be part of an exciting event hosted by the Wapello County Farm Bureau and the Blakesburg Public Library on July 10th! This engaging gathering will take place at the Blakesburg Public Library from 4 PM to 5 PM and is completely free for everyone!
Here's what you can expect:
- Each child will receive a Farm Bureau T-Shirt and a packet of seeds to take home
- Access to informative handouts regarding Wapello County Extension and Outreach day camps, along with the Wapello Expo schedule
- Enjoy a delightful gardening story read by Cheryl Talbert, the Blakesburg librarian and a retired librarian from Indian Hills Community College
- Finally, join in on the fun activity of planting seeds in the fingers of a glove, allowing you to take home this project and observe how seeds sprout while exploring the conditions required for germination
