4 week Still Life Course

Suitable for beginners and improvers, our Friday morning 4 week still life short course will give you the opportunity to try using different mediums to draw or paint a still life composition, observing shapes, light and dark, and negative shapes. Led by experienced artist Wendy Coleman, who trained at Harrow School of Art, London Art College and Rhodec Intl Interior Design College, you will be guided through drawing with pencil (Wk1), drawing with charcoal and chalk pastels (Wk2), painting with water colours (Wk3) and painting with acrylics (Wk4).


Participants will need to bring their own materials where possible: a selection of pencils, charcoal, chalk pastels, watercolour and acrylic paints, paper etc.
