� 4th of July Fireworks Show IS ON! �
We’ve had a lot of questions about whether this year’s 4th of July fireworks show will be happening due to the dry conditions and fire restrictions — and we’re excited to officially say YES, it’s happening!
The crews here at the fire department have been working hard behind the scenes to make sure this year’s show is safe for everyone. Earlier this year, before fire restrictions were in place, they conducted strategic controlled burns around the airport area — where the show takes place — to reduce fire risk. Without those efforts, hosting a fireworks display in a year this dry would be nearly impossible.
Thanks to the dedication and preparation of our teams, we’re confident in the safety of this event. The setup is underway, and we’ve got a big show lined up for everyone to enjoy.
