Hidden Colors of Flowers

Join Master Gardeners from Cornell Cooperative Extension of Clinton County as they present bees, pollinators and flowers as you’ve never seen them before.

You will learn:
- How we see flowers VS how pollinators see flowers.

- Why they see them this way, why it helps, what types of flowers they like best and why these interactions are mutually beneficial for the pollinators and the flowers.

- Other types of pollinators, the plants they prefer and why native plants are so important to pollinators.

- Other ways flowers attract pollinators.

This event is part of our Summer Reading Program and is geared towards kids but all are welcome to attend.
