“Rock-it” is a new band in the Algarve formed in 2025. A varied playlist includes all-time favourite pop and rock classics, ranging through the years from the Beatles and Rolling Stones, Bad Company and Thin Lizzy to David Bowie, REM and AC/DC to mention only a few. Aiming to appeal to a wide audience, there’s something for everyone.
The Line-up:
Georges (Drums) played for many years in Belgium and Holland in Rock and Blues bands. He only recently settled in Portugal.
Dave (Vocals and Guitar), steeped in the music of England’s north-east, came to Portugal over 20 years ago and formed his first band here in 2016.
Tim (Lead Guitar) has played guitar from an early age. He fronted several bands in Dubai in the 1990’s before coming to Portugal 9 years ago.
Syd (Bass) is a true ‘pro’, an accomplished musician, who has played bass for some very well-known bands and artistes in England and Ireland. His rock-solid rhythms have graced several bands in Portugal too over the last 18 years. We are privileged to have his skills in “Rock-it”
