Exploring Eagle Bluff at Peninsula State Park

Join us for a naturalist-guided hike along the Eagle Trail at Peninsula State Park. Our guide will teach us all about the 150-foot cliffs that make up part of the Niagara Escarpment that make this area remarkable. We will see clear natural springs and beautiful forested terraces along the way. This hike is considered more difficult with several steep, rocky sections that parallel Eagle Harbor.

Participants should expect a more-difficult hike along rugged terrain with several moderate climbs and descents. Dress accordingly for the weather, wear rugged footwear and lightweight clothing. Pack a light trailside snack and plenty of water. Bug spray is encouraged as well.

Please park in the Eagle Terrace parking area. This park can be very busy on a Saturday in summer so try to arrive early to ensure you can find a parking spot. The Eagle Tower is also in this location so maybe plan to check that out prior to the hike.

Event registration closes on Monday, July 7th.
