Garden n' Grow - a summer gardening program for youth

Garden n' Grow is an educational opportunity for youth 8-14 developed by University of Missouri Extension that blends positive youth development and academic learning with horticulture training. The program encourages the discovery of science and nature through gardening. Students are guided by adult educators and Master Gardeners. Gardening activities promote a sense of ownership, pride and responsibility.
The program meets Monday through Friday, July 12-25 from 9 to 11:30 am at the Adair County MU Extension Center at 503 E. Northtown Road, Kirksville, MO.
The fee for the program is $20.00 per child. Space is limited to the first 15 to register. Deadline to register is July 16.
