Fighting for Freedom: A Carolina Day Commemoration

Carolina Day, observed annually throughout South Carolina,
remembers one of the first decisive victories by patriots in their fight for independence.
We welcome you to join us on Saturday, June 28, at Fort Moultrie on the verge of the Nation’s 250th Anniversary.

The park (and event) are fee free for the day!

Demonstrations

archaeology, learn to play cricket and other colonial
games, meet the Bully Boys, make crafts, and more!

Evening Event
6:00 pm - Join historian and local author, Norm
Rickeman, for a deep dive on the Battle of Sullivan’s
Island. (Event Tent)
