Join us for a Get Moving series in which LaVerne Robinson will teach a new exercise technique each week. We will begin week 1 with a low-impact exercise: Chair Aerobics. Chair aerobics is a wonderful choice for building strength and improving flexibility. In week 2, we will explore Tia-Chi. Tai chi is an ancient Chinese practice that combines slow, graceful movements with deep breathing and meditation. We will conclude the series on week 3 with Yo-Chi. Yo-Chi is a mind-body exercise that combines yoga and Tia-Chi. It can help with strength, flexibility, mobility, and overall wellness. Participants should wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes and bring a water bottle.
