Library Lawn Series

Award-winning author Anica Mrose Rissi, who grew up on Deer Isle and returns here every year, will talk with Laura Lawford about her writing process and sources of inspiration. She is the author of more than a dozen books for kids and teens, and her latest book, "Wishing Season," a middle grade novel about friendship and loss, is set on the Island.

Join us on the Library lawn for this fun series of relaxed and entertaining enjoy-the-ocean-breezes kind of community events. Hearth & Soul Oven will be on the Lawn selling food (weather permitting), or bring a picnic if you prefer. When it rains, we meet inside the Library.
