Old fashioned 4th of July celebration

Old-fashioned Fourth of July celebration in Erasmus, Tennessee.
Let’s party like it’s 1870 again.
Erasmus and their surrounding communities would have celebrated this great day in history with a reading of the Declaration of Independence, food and music and lots of friendly competition.

RMF NURSERY & Gifts will provide the hamburgers, hotdogs, sweet tea and lemonade. We’d love for you to jump in and help out with all the side dishes in between, you know, baked beans, potato salad, cakes, desserts, stuff like that.
Plan on getting involved in some old fashion family fun like three legged races, tug of war, sack races, Cornhole games and youth fishing at the pond(catch and release).
We will also hold a friendly Pound Cake competition, Sooo dust off your granny’s cookbook and get-ta-baking because there will be a CASH PRIZE for the winner, along with bragging rights of course.

Come and celebrate the independence of this great nation together as a community, but most of all, as friends.

Note: we will NOT have fireworks, and ask that you don’t bring any as well. Our animals are sensitive and we don’t want to stress them out.
