Join Georges River Land Trust and a naturalist guide from the National Audubon Society's Seabird Institute for Birding in the Bog! These outings are perfect for beginner birders, experts, and anyone looking to explore Maine's local nature.
We are hosting two outings: one on Sunday, June 22nd and one on Sunday, June 29th.
The Rockland Bog is one of the natural wonders of Midcoast Maine, containing a 700-acre peat bog surrounded by 5,000 acres of woodlands. These woods and wetlands are home to warblers, thrushes, raptors, waterfowl, and wading birds. Come discover the beauty of the bog!
Participants should pack water and be prepared to walk up to 1.5 miles. This walk is free and open to all ages!
