"Underneath It All" Curator Tour

The Bronck Museum is pleased to announce the first Curator’s Tour of the 2025 museum season set for Friday June 27. Aptly titled “Underneath It All” this special tour will explore what women wore or didn’t wear under all their elaborate gowns.
Ladies dressed in period costumes will be on hand to model both gowns and the under garments necessary to shape and support the ever- changing fashions in women’s clothing from 1775 -1865. The program will also include examples of historic undergarments from the Bronck Museum’s collections. Curator Shelby Mattice will discuss the social and physical impact of their clothing on the lives of women.
The “Underneath it All” Curator’s Tour will begin at 2PM on Friday, June 27th. Tickets for the tour must be purchased at https://www.gchistory.org/curator-tours. Seating is limited for these tours. Admission for this special tour is $25. Bronck Museum is located just off US 9W 3.5 miles south of the intersection of US 9W and Route 81 near Coxsackie, N.Y.
