Learn to Cable, July 31, 2025, 5-7 pm

Instructor: Tanzy Ackerman, owner Door County Alpaca Ranch

Learn to Cable and expand your skills, then apply them to scarves, hats, headbands and more.

A headband is a practical but elegant piece of headwear. It is unisex, universal and can be worn for 9 months a year. Calisson, a pattern by Berroco is a headband with braided cable, perfect for keeping warm in any season. This headband knits up fairly quickly and easily and we expect to have a lot of fun doing it.

Cost: $60.00 per student, class limit is 10 students.

Advanced Beginner Skills Required: Students should know how to cast-on, knit, purl and bind off.

You will learn: Cable construction, pattern reading, use of stitch markers and cable needles.

Materials: All materials included with the class (worsted weight yarn, needles, stitch markers, a cable needle and pattern)
