Mindfulness in the Mountains: Guided Nature Therapy

Slow down and reconnect with nature in this restorative, two-hour guided walk. Inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku (forest bathing), this experience invites you to be fully present amidst the serene beauty of the alpine gardens. Through gentle, mindful invitations, you’ll explore how nature can support your health and well-being, including reducing stress, boosting immunity, and improving mood. Disconnect from the hustle of daily life and partner with the land to cultivate calm, balance, and a deeper connection to the natural world.

Jacklyn Thompson is a Certified Forest and Nature Therapy Guide and a Licensed Social Worker with a background in public health. Since 2022, she has led nature therapy walks, offering restorative experiences that promote well-being and deepen participants’ connection to nature. Jacklyn also speaks on the benefits of nature-based health interventions and their role in advancing health equity.
