In-Person event located at Bridgewater Church of the Brethren: 420 College View Dr, Bridgewater, VA 22812
The cost of registration covers all ingredients. Participants do not need to bring their own ingredients, only a LARGE POT. Participants will go home with 2 quarts of soup each, as well as cooked rice on the side.

ABOUT THE SOUP: African Peanut Stew (Vegan, GF, DF) - This rich and creamy tomato-peanut stew is incredibly flavorful, comforting, and is truly a meal in a bowl! INGREDIENTS: Olive oil, garlic, ginger, sweet potato, onion, cumin, tomato paste, peanut butter, vegetable broth, kale, cilantro, rice, peanuts.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR: Rachel Haddad has dreamed of a community organization like the folk school for years. A dedicated board member and volunteer, Rachel is a "soup enthusiast" who thinks that soup can and should be enjoyed year-round! While not a trained chef, Rachel is excited to help build community for the folk school through events like this.
