2 days workshop of film music with Gabriel Laufer
A rehearsal weekend on a film music repertoire with the conductor and percussionist Gabriel Laufer. Trained in percussion and orchestra conducting at the Royal Conservatories of Brussels and Liège, Gabriel Laufer played for 17 seasons at the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie and with Les Arts Florissants, before expatriating to Indonesia where he is passionate about gamelan and its impact on modern Western music.
Passing through Brussels this summer, he honors us with his presence !
WHEN:
Saturday 19th of July : 10am-5pm, followed by a jam
Sunday 20th of July : 10am -5pm + concert
LOCATION : Institut Saint-Boniface, rue du conseil 59, Ixelles (Brussels)
FOR WHO : Any musician who has an independent practice of his instrument. Intermediate level.
PROGRAM : 5 pieces from the film music repertoire will be workedduring this workshop.It is strongly recommanded to arrive prepared(having printed and worked on your scores). The 2 days of rehearsals will be devoted to collective work. The scores will be sent with the confirmation email, after receipt of your registration form.
