๐จSchofield Barracks Arts & Crafts Center is offering Saturday Art Workshops each month until December 2025.
First 4 Saturdays of each Month
10-11a.m.
Cost: $60 includes all 4 sessions
Learn various techniques of creating art.๐โ๏ธ
Join us as we explore and learn different art mediums. Easy and Fun! Students will learn how to correctly use them and create art projects using different art styles and techniques.
(Each class will provide instructions)

April 5, 12, 19, 26: Glue Art & Oil Pastel
May 3, 10, 17, 24: Color Wheel
June 7, 14, 21, 28: Acrylic Paint & Sand Art
July 5, 12, 19, 26: Realistic Painting using Acrylic Paint
August 2, 9, 16, 23: Mixed Media Project (fabric)
September6, 13, 20, 27: Recycling Materials
October 4, 11, 18, 25: Clay Project
November 1, 8, 15, 22: Rock Painting & Mandalas
December 6, 13, 20, 27: Holiday Art (color pencils, soft pastel & sharpies)
ART STYLES AND TECHNIQUES:
- Drawing: Learning art fundamentals through basic exercises designed to explore line, shape, value, proportion, form, and space.
- Painting: Experience a myriad of painting techniques, including the basic of color mixing, paint application and tool selection. Painting media includes acrylic and watercolors.
- Crafting: Learn how to make decorative articles by hand using your imagination and creativity.
- Mixed Media: Use one or more medium/materials to9 combine on a project.
Open to ages 3 to 13. (Ages: 3-6 Must be accompanied by an adult.)
