Our tai chi classes are offered at no charge courtesy of the Ochsner Integrative Oncology Program. They are held bi-weekly in the 3rd floor multipurpose room at The Gayle and Tom Benson Cancer Center.
Registration and sign-in are required.
Tai chi is a low-impact exercise that combines slow movements with meditation and controlled breathing. It has been shown to improve balance, flexibility and muscle strength. It also is known to reduce stress and improve mood.
