In the wake of the devastating Black Summer bushfires, we’ve all learned just how critical digital skills and connectivity are in an emergency.

Now more than ever, our communities need people who can help others stay connected, access information, and use technology to stay safe and informed. That’s where you come in.

We're calling on local champions to step forward and become Emergency Preparedness Digital Mentors supporting spontaneous volunteers.

As a Digital Mentor, you’ll:

• Help others maintain devices and use websites to find information

• Learn how to find emergency alerts and download emergency apps

• Learn essential skills like using maps, staying connected with family and services, and accessing local support services

• Empower vulnerable members of your community to use technology with confidence

• Be part of a network working to build digital resilience in the Eurobodalla

This is about more than technology – it’s about community strength, preparedness, and recovery.
