Groom your own dog classes is a half day of one-on-one training designed to teach dog owners how to groom their own dog. This course is run Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from 2pm to 5pm, dependent on availability.
This is a hands-on workshop designed for owners of small to medium dogs (dogs up to 15kg), who want to learn the basics of clipping, and maintaining their dog’s coat.
This class is perfect for those looking to gain practical grooming skills and knowledge for personal use, to not only save money, but strengthen the bond with their furry companion by grooming them from home. It is especially ideal for dogs that are nervous and don’t do well in a normal grooming salon environment.
Simply bring your doggy in, freshly washed and dried, and one of our trainers will guide you through the steps to grooming your own dogs breed type.
3 Hour Private Grooming Class
• One person and one dog $300.00
• Or come with a friend and save, two persons and two dogs $550.00
A $100 deposit is required to book your class. Please note 72 hour’s notice is required to change or cancel your class to avoid forfeiting the deposit paid.
Balance payable 48 hours before class.
You will learn
• Safe handling skills
• Correct use of brush and combs
• Nail clipping and grinding
• Clipping skills
• Basic scissor skills
• Products and tools, how to use and look after them
