Wild Explorers Term 6

Wild Explorers is an outdoor based stay and play for families with young children from confident walkers to 5 years old. We provide a selection of activities each week and encourage free play and exploring alongside opportunities to try new things. Research shows that being outside in a natural environment is very beneficial for all areas of children's learning and development and can also reduce stress and anxiety for everyone. Each session will start with a quick safety briefing and will end with a story. A snack for the children cooked on the fire is included.

Wood Lane quarry is in Weston Woods and is uneven underfoot. Due to this we would advise that children can walk confidently before attending. Younger siblings welcome, although baby slings/carriers advised. Non mobile babies are free of charge but toddlers must have a ticket.

At Play Wild we have basic toileting and hand washing facilities. We also operate with small group numbers so please book your tickets so that we know how many to expect. Sorry no dogs.
