Acrylic Classes for Beginners: Part 1

NOTE: The start date for this course has moved to 19th July, and this initial offering is now 4 weeks long, with an associated reduced price of £60 for members and £76 for non-members.

Romsey Art Group are excited to announce Carolyne Viney’s Acrylic Classes for beginners, starting a 4 week course on Thursday 5th June 2025 from 2pm to 4pm. This will be held at the Mountbatten Gallery in Lee. Postcode is SO51 9LG. If you have very little or no experience this is definitely the course for you.

Times: 14.00hrs to 16.00hrs (please arrive 15 minutes beforehand for a prompt start)

Week 2 Colour mixing with acrylic

Week 3 Composing
- Basic composition rules
- Working from light to dark

Week 4 Use of glazing
- How to glaze and the benefits
- Additional techniques scoring, sanding, tanking
