Working Equitation Obstacles Training Clinic

Our Working Equitation clinic will focus on the ‘Ease of Handling’ phase. This requires the horse and rider to negotiate a series of obstacles, such as a gate, bridge, figure of 8 barrels, etc. This is really helpful for building your partnership with your horse, and developing your skills (such as riding one handed!) It’s also great for increasing your horse’s confidence and manoeuvrability. But most importantly, it’s good fun, and suitable for all!

Our instructor for the clinic will be Sharlotte Hughes from Saddle Up Coaching, who is an Association for British Working Equitation approved instructor.

So whether you are new to Working Equitation, or want to improve your skills with the obstacles, this is for you! Sharlotte will coach you on the correct approach to the obstacles, then you will ride the full course, at whatever speed you like!

Sessions will be 45 minutes, and for individuals or pairs. The costs will be as follows:
Individuals - Chilworth RC members £40.00, non members £42.50
Pairs - Chilworth RC members £25.00 pp, non members £27.50 pp
