At the conclusion of this activity, the healthcare team will be able to:
1. Apply culturally informed communication strategies to build trust and rapport with American Indian patients and communities.
2. Identify and address barriers to care rooted in historical trauma, mistrust, and systemic inequities.
3. Collaborate more effectively with tribal leaders, community representatives, and interdisciplinary team members to develop patient-centered care plans that respect cultural values and traditions.
