Guided Walk and Mindfulness: Skylark Serenade
Advertisement
Bring your yoga mat, picnic rug, or walking stick chair/stool, and join Mel Wrigley, our resident ecologist, as we take a gentle walk through the chalk grassland, sticking to the formal and informal paths to protect the breeding birds. We'll find a suitable spot to pause and lie on the ground (optional) amongst the meadows and take time out for a mindfulness moment. We'll listen to the beautiful song of the skylarks, corn buntings, linnets, and yellowhammers; listen to the sea breeze blowing through the grasses and see colourful flowers close-up. All in celebration of National Meadows Day. Meet at the visitor centre at the start time. Free event, limited numbers, booking essential. Normal parking charges apply; National Trust members can park for free.
