Guided Tours of Oswestry Town

Hear about our history as you wander around the town with one of our local guides, listen to myths and legends as you stroll through the parks and alleyways of our border market town – then come on a guided tour.

There is a charge for adults of £5 per person.

Tours run from Easter to September every Saturday at 11am from the Tourist Information Centre, Oswestry Town Market Hall, Bailey Head, SY11 1PZ.

We also also offer tours for groups and individuals. We can even customise a tour for your interests.

There are two self guided walking tours of Oswestry. One is a the Town Heritage Trail and the other the Wilfred Owen Trail telling something of the early life of Wilfred Owen, the war poet, who lived in Oswestry until he was four.
