Harlow Steel Band to perform at The Harvey Centre

Get ready for a fabulous afternoon of music and culture at The Harvey Centre, as the Harlow Steelband brings the spirit of the Caribbean to life with a live performance on Saturday, 28th June.
From 1.45pm to 4pm, the ground floor will come alive with the vibrant sounds of steel pan music, performed by a talented group of young musicians aged 11 and above. Expect a high-energy mix of traditional soca rhythms and popular chart-toppers.
Established in 2003 with support from Harlow Council and London’s acclaimed Ebony Steelband, the Harlow Steelband is a registered charity run by local volunteers. The group offers weekly steel pan workshops for young people, welcoming complete beginners and budding musicians alike.
While enjoying the music, visitors can also sample delicious bites from Adunni’s, The Harvey Centre’s Afrofusion restaurant, located on the first floor. Known for its bold flavours and authentic African and Caribbean cuisine, Adunni’s offers a culinary experience that perfectly complements the event’s lively atmosphere.
